Muslim Streak ("the app", "we", "us") is made by Mohammod Abul Kalam. This policy explains what information the app uses, why, who handles it, and the choices you have. We built Muslim Streak to help you pray on time, not to collect your data. We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps and websites.
Summary
- You can use Muslim Streak without an account. Everything then stays on your phone.
- If you sign in with Apple or Google, your prayer progress is backed up so you can restore it on a new phone.
- Your location is used to calculate prayer times. We never store your precise location on our servers.
- Prayer Lock uses Apple's Screen Time framework. We cannot see which apps you use or how long you use them.
- You can delete your account and all synced data at any time from inside the app.
Information stored on your device
The app saves the following on your iPhone so it works offline:
- Your settings: name (optional), whether you are a brother or sister, prayer-time calculation method, city or location, and alarm preferences.
- Your prayer log: which prayers you marked as prayed, missed, made up (Qada) or excused, your streaks, Nekis, levels and badges.
This data stays on your device unless you create an account. Deleting the app removes it.
Information we collect if you create an account
Creating an account is optional. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive and store:
- Account details: a user ID, your email address, and your name if you choose to share it. With Sign in with Apple you can hide your email; we then receive a private relay address from Apple.
- Your prayer data: the settings and prayer log described above, so they can be restored on another device.
- Approximate location: your city, country, time zone and coordinates rounded to about 1 km, used only to calculate prayer times on a new device.
- Subscription status: whether you have Muslim Streak Pro, the plan, and when it renews or expires.
- A Sign in with Apple token (Apple sign-in only), kept solely so we can revoke your Apple sign-in when you delete your account.
